lied/lied, Nicholas Deyoe
lied/lied is a collaboration between composer Nicholas Deyoe and myself, where I provided text which he set music to. The result is 12 fragments along with three interludes. The performer is given the option to arrange the movements in any order, and can choose to repeat or omit them. I premiered the piece on March 16th, 2013 and recorded it in 2014. This performance dates from a Deyoe Portrait Concert on April 8th, 2015.
